A 60 concert marathon to watch in three days across the city

From the 27th to the 31st of October, Porto hosts the first Portuguese edition of WOMEX, an international meeting of the music industry. Along with the fair, to be held at Alfândega, there will be conferences, documentaries and around 60 showcase concerts throughout the city.

The Colombian Ghetto Kumbé, Brazilian Mateus Aleluia, Angolan-Portuguese Pongo, Spanish Rodrigo Cuevas, the Egypcian group Mazaher, Congo performer Lova Lova or Portuguese O Gajo are some of the many names in the program (list available on Spotify).

The shows will take place in several venues: Rivoli, São João and Sá da Bandeira theatres, the Coliseu, Casa da Música, Passos Manuel and even a marquee set up in Praça de D. João I.

To attend the concerts, there are two types of passes for sale: the 30-euro pass, gives access to concerts in Rivoli and São João theatres, and the 35 euro one, all other venues.

More than 260 artists from all over the world, 520 record labels and distributors, 400 governmental and educational institutions, 800 agents, over 610 managers and 300 producers are expected in Porto, for WOMEX - Worldwide Music Expo 2021, and will be joined by nearly 1250 companies from more than 50 countries.
