Under the title "Serralves Collection: 1960-1980", the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art in Porto is having a nine-month exhibition of a selection of works by Portuguese and international artists, as parts of the displays produced in the decades of 1960 and 1980.

Paula Rego and Mel Bochner are two of the artists represented in the exhibition that, according to the Serralves Foundation "? reflect a redefinition of artistic forms, media and production, influenced by profound transformations in technology".

The Serralves Collection also aspires to further distinguish itself through continued research, focusing on contemporary art's relationship to performance, architecture and contemporaneity in the scope of a post-colonial and globalized present.
