Bristish newspaper, in its paper edition and also online, The Times highlights rehabilitation of the 300-year-old Porto historic city centre and emphasizes investors are heading to Portugal's northern city.

Porto, with its "Hipster bars" and "high-end hotels", alongside colourful tiled old buildings and dazzling façades beguile tourists, according to The Times. This Bristish daily also asserts that the city centre's population is increasing and that visitors and investors are fascinated by such an amazing UNESCO heritage Site, recognized by UNESCO as a World heritage 20 years ago.

Porto is the place to invest. Rehabilitation in Porto Baixa is in motion and medieval buildings lined with licensing notices are proof that the investors have arrived, says reputable journalist Liz Rowlinson.

The article praises the city of Porto and names some personalities who have yielded to the city as the Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and actor Harrison Ford, who posted photos of his last summer in Porto. And quotes investors, "Baixa is a bit like Chiado 10 years ago - it's all waiting for us," says Charles Roberts, Managing Partner of Fine & Country Portugal, who opened an office in Porto last year.

"There is great potential for foreign investment. Rental rates in Porto are 10 percent lower than in Lisbon, and real estate purchase prices are 30 to 40 percent lower, so profits are higher".

The Times explains that the city potential is enormous: "Why buy in Porto instead of Lisbon, in addition to lower property prices?" It is a smaller more compact and friendlier city. That means more mobility and less traffic in Porto. You can walk to the beach and visit popular restaurants without having to book, "says Belo. "In the Summer we don't have to bear high temperatures like in Lisbon, and Porto has a richer interior."

"So, why aren't people buying more? "It will happen, believe me," says Roberts. "Buying in the Baixa means that in less than five years you will be surrounded by houses that are being built."
