There are plenty of bags and all the Christmas gifts fit in there

It is already part of the Christmas tradition. Who chooses local commerce to make this season’s shopping will receive a paper bag celebrating the Christmas season. The campaign begins on December 1st on several streets in the city.

Given the legal prohibition, which forbids commercial establishment of giving bags, free of charge, to customers, the Municipality will give bags with Christmas themes, according to the size of the article or articles bought, to whom presents proof of purchase in street shops.

Traders only must inform the clients, at the moment of the purchase, of the places where they can collect their paper bags: Rua de Cedofeita, Galerias Comerciais da Praça da Estação de Metro da Trindade and Rua Alexandre Braga.

The campaign will be on the street, from Monday to Saturday, between 11:00 am and 06:00 pm. From 1 to 9 of December, the distribution takes place from a caravan settled on Rua de Cedofeita (intersection at Praça Carlos Alberto and the beginning of Cedofeita pedestrian zone).

The same caravan will be on Rua Alexandre Braga (next to the Metro Bolhão exit), from 11 to 23 of December.

Every day until December 23rd, bags can also be collected at the Galeria Comercial in Praça da Estação de Metro da Trindade.
