The Municipal Executive has approved to budget the amounts destined to support traders of the Bolhão Market to address the extended deadline of the rehabilitation works of the ancient market of Bolhão, due to the new coronavirus pandemic(it is worth recalling that the one century old market is undergoing rehabilitation works and that the traders are temporarily set at Bolhão Temporary Market, at La Vie Shopping Centre).

This will allow people to sooth the financial distress caused by the pandemic and the chaotic period we are all struggling with.

The proposition was voted this morning, during the online Municipal Executive meeting; as such, Bolhão traders will be given a maximum and minimum value of financial aid.

This proposition is in line with the commitment by Porto City Hall to ensure the waiting and transition to the rehabilitated market is done as smoothly as possible, and to ensure the traders are capable of moving on with their businesses. This historical agreement had the general consensus of the Municipal Executive, the Municipal Assembly and the traders.
