Parks and gardens of the city live Dias com Energia once more

The good weather brings Dias com Energia (Days with Energy) once more to the parks and gardens of the city. The weekends will be healthy with activities such as Pilates, yoga, or tai chai for many age groups and levels of experience.

On Saturday mornings, the activities start at 9am, with Pilates, in Jardins do Palácio de Cristal. At 10am is time to practice yoga, and, at 11am, there is still time to attempt tai chi.

At 9:30am there is also yoga in the Parque Oriental of the city, followed by a Pilates class at 11am. At the same time, whoever wishes to, can join the tai chai and yoga practices, in Parque da Pasteleira.

On Sundays, the services offered extend to Parque da Cidade, with tai chai at 9:30am and, the novelty that doesn’t happened in the activity nor in gyms, the Rose method, at 11am.

With the goal of promoting an outdoors’s sports practice, Dias com Energia (Days with Energy) in the parks and gardens extend until the end of September and maintain fixed schedules and disciplines, every weekend.

Everyone can participate in these activities, free of charge, regardless of the level of experience. Registrations must be made through the e-mail desporto@agoraporto.pt, until 5pm of every Friday, indicating their name and the lesson they intend to participate in. Every activity is planned and guided by physical education’s professionals. The use of comfortable clothes and shoes, adequate to the practice of sports, is recommended.
