The Constituição Swimming Pool is one of the municipal infrastructures that will host this Saturday, October 22, the Aqua Life, a wide programme of water activities free of charge for all interested users. The activities are part of the Congress Aqua Exercise programme, which will take place from 21 to 23 October in the Atlantic Front municipalities, Porto, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia.

The Congress Aqua Exercise, organized by Portugal Aquatraining, has been taking place since 2015 (with a break in 2021 due to the pandemic) and has been gaining importance as an international forum for discussion and sharing of experiences on aquatic activities and aquatic practice.

With the programme divided in two major moments, Aqua Pro is intended for training with national and international teachers who are references in areas such as swimming pool management, aquatic rehabilitation, swimming and aquafitness.

Aqua Life, on the other hand, includes a vast programme of aquatic activities guided by international teachers and which are accessible, free of charge, to the participation of users of the municipal swimming pools of the three municipalities.

At Constituição swimming pool, activities take place on Saturday, the 22nd, between 9 am and 12h45 pm, and include a true international aquafitness marathon, activities for parents and children and special swimming lessons for babies and children of different learning levels.

Due to this event, the regular activities scheduled for that swimming pool will be suspended. However, users of Constituição swimming Pool and all interested parties are welcome to participate, free of charge, in Aqualife, only requiring prior registration via email: remupi@agoraporto.pt or in person at the reception of the municipal swimming pools of Cartes and Constituição.

The Congress Aqua Exercise has the support of the Municipality of Porto through Ágora – Cultura e Desporto, for the recognition of the importance it represents in the promotion of aquatic sports in areas as relevant as good practices in swimming pool management, for specific practices of swimming and aquarobics.
