The streets of Porto were once again the chosen place by thousands of people to welcome the new year.

The Christmas dinner offered by Municipal employees’ Centro Cultural e Desportivo served, on Tuesday night, around a thousand meals.

“Together we make an even more magical Christmas” is the campaign that brings the smiles of the youngest, the enthusiasm of families, the joy reflected on each face.

At midnight, all eyes will be on the Invicta sky for the traditional fireworks show, that will be launched from Praça da República.

The first tree is already there, ready to see the growth of many others, until the creation of 17 thousand square meters that will make the future Parque Urbano da Lapa a new lung for a greener Porto.
