Through dance and singing, Dorothea Munyaneza recalls the memory of places she loved and people who are no more, due to tensions between the Hutu and Tutsi peoples, which have led to a civil war in Rwanda in 1994.

Municipal Theatre of Porto showcases this weekend, March 3 and 4, the shows by Dorothée Munyaneza, from Rwanda, and Mithkal Alzghair, from Syria, under Focus Displacements main theme.

Golden Bear for Best Short Film 2017 was awarded to "Small Town," by Portuguese Diogo Costa Amarante. The short tells the story of Frederico, a six-year-old boy, who finds out at school that people die when their hearts stop beating. This discovery prevents him for sleeping that night.

As part of the strategy to revitalize Silo Auto, the first exhibition of the Vertical Gallery of the parking lot building managed by PortoLazer opens to the public at 9:00 pm on Friday, December 16. The Vertical Gallery is thought as a privileged space for temporary interventions of various artistic projects, that spread through the various stair levels of the seven storey building.
