Webinar provides live knowledge on the role of technology under the pandemic

This is the second session of the webinars "Economy in the city of Porto", set for today, at 10am. 

The role of technology under the current pandemic and how tech skills impact the economic sector to overcome the crisis will be debated at today's webinar.

Today's session will help decipher the movement #tech4COVID19, which was set in Porto and that gathers over 5.300 people committed to finding fastest solutions than the virus itself.

Participation is free.

Deputy Mayor of Porto City Hall, Filipe Araújo, in charge of Innovation and Environment and President of the Porto Digital Association will open the debate.

Felipe Ávila da Costa, speaker of the tech4COVID19 platform will also participate, as well as Porto TechHub President, Luís Neves.

The panel "Why has the pandemic turned digital transformation in a priority?" by Deloitte partner, César Marto.

This webinar launches the debate on business finance and funding measures, the role of technology, and how can Porto position itself as a trusted tourism destination, the future reality of business and trade and the reinvention by the local economy.
