The Open House Porto 6th edition is rescheduled for 3rd and 4th July 2021. Curators to Open House 2021 are Graça Correia and historian Joel Cleto. This decision was made by the Casa da Arquitectura and the partner municipalities, including Porto City Hall, to ensure the safety of the public and of all those involved in the organisation.

In 2021, the weekend of 3rd and 4th July, 75 spaces will open doors for free, showcasing the grandeur of the architectural heritage of four cities -Porto, Matosinhos, Vila Nova de Gaia and Maia, which enters the event for the first time.

One of the novelties of this net edition is the strong bet on extending opening hours, namely the nocturnal period and continuously over the weekend.

"Besides the debut of Maia as the fourth participating municipality, making this the only Open House Porto to gather four cities simultaneously, in a joint and continuous territory, we have increased the number of sites to visit and, for the first time, we'll have 48 hours consecutive visits", highlights Nuno Sampaio, Executive-Director of Casa da Arquitectura.

Exclusively organised and produced by Casa da Arquitectura, with the strategic partnership of the City Halls of Maia, Matosinhos, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, Open House Porto aims at continuing to established itself as one of the most relevant cultural moment of the year.

Graça Correia, architect, university lecturer and author of many book and co-author of documentaries and Joel Cleto, archaeologist, historian and disseminator of History and Heritage and university teacher, widely known by the public for its shows on History at Porto Canal.
