Luxembourg National carrier, Luxair resumes flights to Porto, starting on 30th May. The airliner had suspended flights due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Flights to Porto will be daily, and flying on Boeing 737-700. This will also be the only air link between the Invicta and Luxembourg, as TAP route was cancelled from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport.

The first flight to Porto Airport is set to happen on 30th May, according to the timetables available on the company's website.

"These are good news to Portuguese emigrants in Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, after TAP announced flight suspension between Porto and Luxembourg", as the Jornal do Luxemburgo says.

Joe Schroeder, Luxair spokesperson, affirms that returning to operations "is extremely important to reconnect both countries, mainly because of the broader Portuguese community living in Luxembourg".

Luxair, legally Luxair S.A., Société Luxembourgeoise de Navigation Aérienne, is the flag carrier airline of Luxembourg with its headquarters and hub at Luxembourg Airport. This first phase of operations relaunch includes five European cities, namely Porto, Lisbon, Stockholm, Munich and Hamburg.
