Chess workshop at the Municipal Public Library of Porto

The Municipal Public Library of Porto hosts, from December 2016 till July 2017, a chess workshop for the general public.

The purpose is to provide a method of specialized teaching in the practice of chess, which respects individual learning pace and style.

Each weekly session will last for an hour and a half. With a powerpoint presentation and a chessboard help, participants will get acquainted with general notions of the game's history and its basic principles.

The sessions will take place between 10 am and 1:30 pm with the following timetables. Wednesdays, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm or Saturdays from 10 am to 1.30 pm. The sessions have a monthly cost of 20 euros and will be guided by Daniel Gonçalves Quintã.
