This weekend, September 30 and October 1, is the last opportunity to visit Baluarte, the urban art exhibition that gave new colours to the Quartel de Monte Pedral.

The space will be open from 10 am to 7 pm and, in parallel to the works on display, will have several free access activities. There is a botanical painting workshop with artist Mura on Saturday, first thing in the morning, and a spray techniques workshop, scheduled for Sunday, with Mariana PTKS. Guided tours will take place at 11 am and 4 pm, a conversation about “City, Urban Art and Law” on Saturday, at 3 pm and music, with DJ sets by Xico Ferrão (September 30) and Ohx (October 1).

The first edition of Baluarte – Urban Art Exhibition makes Monte Pedral the largest open-air gallery with works designed for large structures, the size of a large barracks wall. The festival offered programs for the whole family, with workshops and shops, conferences, demonstrations, and music to celebrate an art that, being urban, belongs to everyone.

Admission is free and open to all.
