Porto University is commemorating its 106th anniversaryand invites students, professors, alumni, prospective students, and friends to engage on the celebration programme that was prepared to mark this occasion.

FEUPLink UK, alumni from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto, University of Porto, joined the Winter Run Series UK to raise much-needed funds to help fight cancer.

The 10th Young Researchers Meeting will be held in Porto, Portugal from 8 -10 February 2017, at the Medical Research Centre of the Faculty of Medicine.

The University of Porto is among the 200 institutions of higher education worldwide - and 75 in Europe - that best promote their students' employability, according to the 2017 edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings, recently released by the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The University of Porto is again the best Portuguese university ranked in the QS World University Rankings, one of the most important international rankings of higher education. Overall, the University of Porto ranked 323 as best university from more than 3,800 institutions considered around the world.

Over four hundred young scientists from 25 nations will be gathered at the Medical School of the University of Porto (FMUP) from 15 to 18 September, to participate in the 11th edition of the Young European Scientist Meeting (YES Meeting).

The University of Porto will be distinguished by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) with the Institutional Award for Innovation in Internationalisation. The award annually distinguishes European higher education institutions that are actively engaged in innovative internationalization strategies.
