The journey to accomplish a brand new University stadium is completed and Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira visited the equipment upon invitation by the Rector of the University of Porto, António Sousa Pereira. The old University Stadium is being renovated since April 2019 and the work done is immediately noticeable for those who visit it, following the investment of circa 2.5 million euros.

This first UNESCO Chair in Heritage Studies is the outcome of a demanding screening by a team of international experts, following an application submitted by FAUP. The chair will cover two priority area, namely teaching and advanced training, research and knowledge sharing as well as international cooperation.

Porto University will "bombard" Porto Book fair with books of all kinds at bargain prices from 1 to 17 September in Palácio de Cristal. With its own exhibition space (pavilion 26), the University of Porto will present over 230 sponsored titles by U. Porto Editions, by Instituto Marques da Silva, by Casa-Museu Abel Salazar and the Faculties of Architecture, Sports, Engineering and Arts.

The University of Porto provides coordination and organisational support, with other European and Uzbeke universities, under the E+ CBHE (Capacity Building in the field Higher Education), 2 (KA2) of Erasmus + Programme. Two of the six approved projects with a total funding of EUR 6 million will be coordinated by the University of Porto.

"Do it" exhibition at Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto runs until June 23. The point of departure are the written instructions, which are then interpreted anew every time they are enacted by the audiences.
