Municipal Theatre

Teatro Municipal Campo Alegre hosts the film cycle with focus on the higher-value of the filmmaking industry as an important contribution to the Seventh Art. Medeia Filmes is in charge of the programming.

Jonathan Uliel Saldanha's Afasia Tática project is presented at Culturgest Porto, located at Avenida dos Aliados, nº 104, from 5 May to 2 July.

The DDD Festival - Dias de Dança offers a wide range of activities at different times and in various geographical areas within the municipalities of the Atlantic Front, Porto, Gaia and Matosinhos.

The "Quintas de Leitura" cycle is included in the Festival DDD - Days of the dance Festival and features a special presentation at Campo Alegre Auditorium on 27 April, at 10 pm.

"Nocturno" (Nocturnal in English) is a dance performance about the fear and fascination of the dark, featured by Theatre Campo Alegre, Saturday April 22, at 3 pm and at 5 pm.

Turning forty and depending on casual labour, the actor succumbs to the burden of living the lie that it is no work at all (in Portuguese "Não dá trabalho nenhum") to lead a life as an actor.

The film is a satire about anti-immigrant sentiment in the United States, a country where foreign immigration has skyrocketed. A simple immigration issue spins wildly out of control for those involved, ranging from the President of the United States, to a news producer.

Nocturnal Emissions is a experimental/industrial sound art project that has released numerous records and CDs in broad music styles ranging from electro-acoustic, musique concrète, hybridised beats, sound collage, post-industrial music, ambient and noise music.

The Rivoli will host a workshop in Drama, with the purpose to enhance participants' understanding of a concept in a practical sense. It will take place on Wednesday, March 22, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
