Twin pregnancy is the theme of the 4th YES Talk initiative, in the context of the YES (Young European Scientist) Meeting. The talk takes place on April 26 at the António de Almeida Foundation, in Porto, under the telling title "And then ... there were two".

Enrico Lopriore, current Head of the Department of Neonatology at the Pediatric Hospital of Leiden University, The Netherlands, is an acknowledged expert as regards multiple pregnancy. He will give a lecture on antenatal care and placenta.

Carlota Rodo Rodriguez from the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona will discuss preterm births as regards multiple pregnancy.

Alexandra Matias from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, is a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics and will debate the multiple gestation phenomenon.

Teresa Castro, a member of the research group on reproductive genetics and embryo-fetal development at the i3S institute, will present a paper on the cardiac and neurological repercussions of multiple fetal development.

The Yes Meeting will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto from September 14 to 17.
