Women’s rugby team of Sport Club do Porto is the European champion

After conquering the national title, at Figueira da Foz, the women’s rugby team of Sport Club do Porto – Sport Rugby has become this year’s beach rugby European champion just recently.

The “sports cubs” achieved their victory in the final of the European championship for this sport, during the European Beach Rugby Association Series (Master Final), in Marseille. In the run for the European title during the master’s tournament there were 10 teams, from several countries, but it was the Porto team that took the upper hand, beating the Italians from Sabbie Mobili in the final, by 8-5. The women’s rugby team of Sport Club do Porto revealed itself as capable of playing a high-quality game.
