Welcome to Bioblitz at the Serralves Park, your weekend essential

The Serralves Foundation, sponsored by Lipor and associated municipalities, invites families and general public to enjoy the 7th edition of Bioblitz, the nature awareness project that is sure to provide the key to a well spent time in a natural atmosphere, on 5 and 6 June. Access is free.

This weekend, the Bioblitz initiative in the Serralves Park will revamp your wellbeing and increase your knowledge on biodiversity. Bioblitz educational and scientific event promotes awareness raising on Environment, Biodiversity and Sustainability, by increasing everyone’s knowledge on the Parque de Serralves fauna and flora, with an approach to the notions of science, art and culture.

The encounter will not be reductive and will deliver a contemporary narrative to reach sustainability, inspired by the 2030 Agenda Objective for Sustainable development, to protect terrestrial ecosystems.

The online event took place during the week, under the motto “Descobre a Natureza do Parque de Serralves com a Lipor” [“Find nature in the Serralves park with Lipor”, free translation], and gathered schools from all over the country in the virtual platform; this weekend, on 5 and 6 June, it is time to welcome families and general public in-person.
