Warm Up for precious moments at Campo Alegre

The array of activities that announces Porto Book Fair, one of the most important literary events in the city is the Warm Up, featuring must pick up events to prepare for precious moments. The first of those events kicked off yesterday, with the quartet A Flor do Lácio, and today there is Rui Reininho, outstanding figure in the national music scene. The music from Porto will take the stage at the Theatre Campo Alegre, at 5 pm, to present his newest work “20.000 Éguas Submarinas”.

“20.000 Éguas Submarinas” is an experimental album, with electronic vibes and Tibetan gongs, and spoken word. Reininho (vocals, percussion instrument, Tibetan gongs) will go on stage with Paulo Borges (keyboards, electric guitar, guitar), who also coproduced the album, Alexandre Soares (electric guitar, programming), Pedro Oliveira (percussion) and Julius Gabriel (saxophone).

Entrance is free, but subject to seat availability. Tickets will be available on the day of the show, with mandatory prior collection at the Ticket office of the Teatro do Campo Alegre, starting at 2.30 pm (maximum two per person).

The Warm Up 2021 continues next weekend with the Festival Porta-Jazz, between 23 and 25 July.

The Warm Up 2021 had been scheduled for the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, but it had to be adjusted to the DGS guidelines, owing to the ongoing pandemic. Some of the shows were rescheduled for the Teatro Campo Alegre and others to the auditorium of Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in order to maintain the city’s cultural activity going, honour commitments with players and artists as well as technicians involved in the Warm Up 2021.
