U.Porto has been record breaking in students and researchers mobility programmes

The University of Porto will have a huge number of international students as till the end of the school year 2017/2018, U.Porto welcomes 2471 students from 76 nationalities.

These figures show the success of the internationalization strategy by the University of Porto over the past decade.

According to the U.Porto "these are not definitive figures, nevertheless the 2000 students milestone has already been surpassed as a large number of students chooses faculties in Porto to complement their academic education, under cooperation agreements such as Erasmus +".

The Faculties of Fine Arts and of Engineering are the most sought after by mobility students, 517 and 407 respectively.

"There has been a continuous rise of students in search for an international experience in the University of Porto, and also international researchers", officials from Porto University enhance, "and the quality of student hosting in the U.Porto, as well as the safe, cosmopolitan and lively environment of the city are no strangers to this ongoing increase".

The University of Porto continues to show remarkable results over the years. The welcoming session to mobility students takes place on 22 February at the rectory of Porto University.
