Three concerts precede the program of the Porta-Jazz Festival scheduled for 7 and 8 December at Rivoli

Seventh edition of the Porta-Jazz festival at the Rivoli on December 7 and 8. Two days festival at Rivoli, with concerts in the afternoons, joining public and musicians in a party atmosphere.

Tomorrow, November 30, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, the program opens a week earlier with the Abe Rábade Trio.

This edition features 11 concerts at Rivoli, involving about 60 musicians, 20 of which are foreign. This year there will also be a parallel program (+ Bonus!), with several workshops and concerts at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, on November 30, with Abe Rábade Trio; in Passos Manuel, on 6 December, with Mario Santos "Block A4" feat. Nguyên Le; and a meeting of jazz schools in the Conservatory of Music of Porto, December 4. 

The festival programme comprises the latest projects released by Carimbo Porta-Jazz, as well as new compositions created by national and foreign musicians namely Mané Fernandes Invites Nick Jurd & Edward Richardson; Demian Cabaud Invites Jeff Williams, Albert Bover, Miguel Fernandez and Gonçalo Marques; Coreto + Torbjorn Zetterberg.
