What better way to be inspired than to be carried away by a stunning view of the Invicta, right? We agree. That is why the invitation to climb to the dome of the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota and see Porto from a 360 degree field of view is a must-pick suggestion. This is not for the faint of heart, though! Enjoy!

The trip starts in 1865, with a visit to the inside of what once was literally a crystal palace (and an imposing one!). The circuit is then the year 1952, when the demolition of such a gem gave way to the building first known as Pavilhão dos Desportos, until the current Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, host to a myriad of events such as the EU Social Summit, which took place this month of May.

The “icing on the cake” is the dome: a viewpoint that enables a 360 degrees perspective of the city of Porto in all its might, “from Boavista to Marquês, and from Ribeira to Foz”.

Visits are accompanied by a guide and last for 40 minutes. Each group includes up to 13 people, but one person can also climb with the guide. The minimum age to take part is 12 years old and the experience is not accessible to people in a wheelchair.
