The Exterminating Angel

On 11th June, and after a 3 month shut down due to the ongoing pandemic, Theatre Campo Alegre opened doors and now we can all go back to watching a film complying with all pandemic control measures. 

Now playing is the cycle devoted to Spanish/Mexican filmmaker Luís Buñuel, on show till 1st July.

This weekend don't miss the double sessions of films "That Obscure Object of Desire" and "The Exterminating Angel", on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Filmmaker Luis Buñuel worked in France, Mexico and Spain. When he died, at age 83, his obituary in The New York Times mentioned the words "iconoclast, moralist, and revolutionary", a "leader of avant-garde surrealism" in his youth, and a "dominant international movie director half a century later".
