With the arrival of Rede Expressos, which joins the other operators (Flixbus, Internorte, Lazara, Scotturb (Gipsyy), Socintarbus and Valpi), the Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã (TIC) will triple the supply of lines. Since this Tuesday, November 22nd, the Terminal will have more than 700 schedules. This means that, daily, about 40 thousand people will leave or arrive in Porto, via TIC. During peak hours, the Terminal will receive one bus per minute.

STCP-Serviços is aware that this increase in supply implies changes in the habits of both operators and passengers. In order to minimize the constraints that may arise, it has made some changes to the terminal, such as the creation of a pier reinforcement area, more routing signages and a reinforcement of the customer support team.

Assuming that the terminal management is evolutionary, all entities involved (Porto City Hall, STCP – Serviços, Manvia and operators) are working together to ensure that this movement causes the least inconvenience to passengers and that the experience for those arriving and departing from the Terminal is positive.

How to get to TIC

The TIC – Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã is located on Rua de Bonjóia and has connections to the metro, train and bus. By metro, you can take any of the lines passing through Campanhã (A, B, C, E, F) and exit at “Estação de Campanhã”. Also at the pier of the Subway Station you must follow the signage TIC – Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã.

Also by train it is possible to get to TIC, through the lines Aveiro, Porto, Braga and Marco (Campanhã stop). At the train station you must follow the signage TIC – Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã.

By bus, you can reach Largo da Estação de Campanhã/Rua Justino Teixeira, via STCP (205, 206, 207, 400, 403), or Gondomarense (1,4,5,6,7,8,9,14,15,22). And there is also the ZC line, at Rua Pinheiro de Campanhã.

If you choose to travel in your own vehicle, just get out at VCI, in Campanhã/São Roque, in any way. The Terminal has a parking lot, with 230 spots and with a special fee for customers of the road passenger transport service operating in TIC, upon exhibition of the transport ticket. Arrive early to ensure a smooth and timely boarding.

There is also room for bicycles and scooters, and you can also reach by taxi (Rua de Bonjóia). If you arrive on foot, you must follow the pedestrian access arrows and go to the 1st floor of the Terminal.

What you can find on the 1st floor

The 1st floor is the place where all users must wait for the right time to board. There you can find all the services available, such as ticket office, information desk, parcel dispatch, luggage storage, lost and found, waiting room, convenience store and cafeteria.

In the waiting room you can consult the real-time dashboards to find out the times and which boarding dock is assigned to the trip you are going to take.
