Tennis matches are served at Monte Aventino Sports Complex in Porto

The Absolute National Championship is ongoing till 19th July at the Invicta, with tennis players Frederico Silva and Gastão Elias qualifying for the quarter-final matches. 

Nuno Borges, Daniel Rodrigues, Tiago Cação, Luís Rodrigues and the player from Porto João Monteiro are the other athletes to play the quarter-finals games of this 20 thousand euros prize tournament.

For women's competitions, Francisca Jorge, top player also qualified for the quarter-final match. The athlete from Guimarães will play against Bárbara Balancho.

Qualified, as well, are players Maria Inês Fonte, Sara Lança and the favourite to win Inês Murta.

Due to concerns with the new coronavirus, the 2020 Porto Open, the major tennis tournament at the Invicta, was postponed to September.
