Steve Reich Highlights, by Drumming Grupo de Percussão premieres on 5th March, at 9 pm, free on TMP Facebook and Youtube. It repeats on 6th and 7th March, at the SunBOL Live Streaming (available for 48h), with price tickets at 3.5 euros

American composer Steve Reich, one of the leading exponents of Minimalism, a style based on repetitions and combinations of simple motifs and harmonies, is the highlight for these days at Porto Municipal Theatre.

DRUMMING GRUPO DE PERCUSSÃO has drawn inspiration by Steve Reich’s piece Drumming. This ensemble from Porto, founded and directed by Miquel Bernat, in 1999 devoted to contemporary music and has since established itself as one of the most important collectives of its kind at international level. Its performances cover classical percussion, jazz, electronics and rock, theatre, opera and ballet pieces.
