Serralves distinguished as one of the modern wonders of the world

The Australian newspaper "The Sidney Morning Herald" placed Museu de Serralves among the 49 modern wonders of the world.

The main Australian newspaper shared an article, called "The 49 modern wonders of the world, as named by the experts", where you can read a list of places you must visit, drawn up by people from different areas. The Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves is one of the places highlighted by Suzanne Cotter, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, considering it one of the most beautiful museums in Europe and highlighting not only its architecture but also its setting, 18 hectares of nature framed in a centennial park with unique features.

The building, designed by Álvaro Siza, is part of the list, alongside other very relevant ones as the São Paulo MASP, the New Yorker Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum or the Parisian Centre Georges Pompidou.
