ScaleUp Porto gives women a platform in technology

The Portuguese Women in Tech Awards (PWIT) is a project aimed at awarding leading female experts in the tech panel, within the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This was one of the eight selected initiatives, in a total of 57 applications, in the context of the ScaleUp Porto Open Call, sponsored by Porto City Hall.
The project is aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, technology and innovation in the city.
These prizes highlight the two years of the Portuguese Women in Tech (PWIT) community, whose fundamental mission is to enhance women's role in the national tech scene.
Till 24 September, the community can appoint the women in tech that are the perfect match for each of the nine presented categories.
The following days, a jury of the PWIT Community will validate and shortlist the nominations for each category.
Voting will be open till 18 October. On 20 October, the three finalists will be announced and on 27 October, Porto Customs will host the prize delivery ceremony.
