Sailing World Championship in Porto and Matosinhos waters

The Sailing World Championship 49ers and 49erFX, one of the most important Olympic Sailing Classes Championship is to be held in the North of Portugal, in the cities of Porto and Matosinhos.

Starting 25 August and running until 2 September, the best sailors of the planet will compete in the stunning northern beaches of Porto and Matosinhos.

This event will gather more than 500 people, about 130 boats and 350 athletes from 60 different nationalities.

The competition is organised by Clube de Vela Atlântico, and it will be broadcasted to 170 countries all over the world.
