The 19th edition of the Porto Marathon will take place on November 5, with much of the route to be made along the banks of the Douro River. Registration for the race remains open.

As usual, the race will have several formats, the main one being the 42-kilometre race. In addition to this, the family-run will also take place, with a length of 10 kilometres. There is also the possibility of opting for the fun race/six-kilometre walk, another facet of the race in which everyone can participate.

It is recalled that, in 2022, Kenyan James Mwangui set a new race record, with a time of 2:08:47. Kenyan Monica Jepkoech has held the women's record of 2:26:58 since 2017. His compatriot, Alice Jepkemboi Kimutai, won the women's race last year, with a time of 2:29.58.

All information as well as registrations are available on the race website, organized by RunPorto and supported by the Municipality of Porto.
