This January, the storytelling cycle “Sábados a Contar” is back to the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library (BMAG). Sessions restart this 9th January, at 11am and continue until the end of the month, also featuring a theme workshop at the end of each session.

These activities are organised for children from the age of three onwards and is aimed at boosting their taste for reading. The rendez-vous is set for the Sala de Leitura Infantojuvenil at the municipal libary and these storytelling moments will set off with the reading of the novel “O Príncipe com cabeça de cavalo”, by António Mota.

The following weekend, on 16th January, it will be time to enter the realm of “O coelho branquinho e a formiga rabiga”, written by Alice Vieira.

On 23rd January, children’s imagination will be sparked by the reading of the popular novel “A Carochinha e o João Ratão”, by Luísa Ducla Soares.

The cycle is access free, but with limited capacity owing to the ongoing pandemic and in line with the health measures in place. Prior registration is mandatory via email bmp@cm-porto.pt and children must be accompanied by an adult.
