The Quinta de Leitura literary cycle is back with poetry, illustration, new circus acts and music

Bring a little joy to your winter evenings with the cycle “Quintas de Leitura”, at the digital stage of Porto Municipal Theatre (TMP), with the celebration of the work by poets Filipa Leal and João Habitualmente. This session is available starting at 10 pm, on 11th February, at TMP online.

The first session of the 2021 literary cycle features poetry - O astronauta casou-se por lá – illustration, new circus and music. The event is presented by João Gesta, and gathers two poets of Porto, Filipa Leal and João Habitualmente, who wrote about the world we live in. Sandra Salomé, Isaque Ferreira and Filipa Leal will also narrate some of the poetic works at play.

As for illustration, Maria Corvacho will mark her debut in the literary cycle with images drawn by short daily moments, nature and unrest.

Also get ready for the new circus act that usually enters these sessions, this time with the duo Daniel Seabra and Margarida Monteny.

Time also for music, with the sound of Lavoisier – vocals by Patrícia Relvas and guitar and vocals by Roberto Afonso – and the Cachupa Psicadélica closing the session.
