Queer Porto 6th edition kicks off on 13th October

Queer Porto is back in Rivoli from 13 to 17 October. This is the 6th edition of this International Cinema Festival and programme comprises as diversified and relevant film selection and activities. 

The festival's organization highlights the Teddy Award winning documentary by the Austrian director Patric Chiha, at the latest Berlinale, themed "Si c'était de l'amour", based on the play Crowd, by the choreographer Gisèle Vienne. This film invites viewers to think identities over and to fantasize with utopians levels of desire.

Queer Porto 6th edition also extends its programming to the Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto, where a series of conferences is presented under the topic cruising, a cross cutting issue to this year's edition, which will be debated regarding queer culture and cultural objects, desire policies related to this practice and also cruising and the link with architecture and urban spaces.

The programming also features the usual competitive sessions and the out of the competition programme.
