The winners of the Best Of Wine Tourism 2017 prizes will be announced at this meeting to recognise excellence in wine tourism in seven different categories: Architecture and Landscape, Art and Culture, Innovative Experiences in Wine Tourism, Accommodation, Wine Tourism Services, Sustainable Practices and wine restaurants.

The meetings of the thematic committees (Tourism, Communication, Business & Research) and the Executive Committee wich consist of members of each country's delegations will be held from 6 to 10 November in order to assess the activities carried out this year and define the activities and schedule of actions to promote during 2017.

The event will also stand out by two moments, open to the public, which will provide the opportunity to contact with leading experts in the world of wine and wine tourism.

The first will take place on 7, at 9 p.m. in the auditorium of the Almeida Garrett Library, where a conference entitled "Wine and Nature" will be held, which includes the presence of renowned speakers, who speak of their experience and perspective on the importance of sustainable practices in wine production and the impact of this strategy on the consumer.

On June 8 at 8 p.m., an international wine tasting will be held at The Yeatman Hotel, where you can appreciate and compare some of the wines that each of these regions have to offer.
