Porto Open features the best national tennis players

Porto plays host to the Porto Open 19th edition, from 21 to 29 July, featuring the best national tennis players and some promising international players of this sport, at Porto Tennis Club.

The largest Tennis Tournament in town has as key novelty the cash prize upgrade for the female competitors, which is now 25 thousand dollars, the same as the male competitor's prize money.

Portuguese João Monteiro emerged as the winner of last year's competition, whilst Slovak Michaela Honcova won for the female competitors.
