Porto for Best European Destination 2017

The "Porto - Best European Destination 2017" campaign was officially launched on January, 25th, by the Porto Tourism Association, in an event that brought together several public personalities who lent their names and "faces" to support the campaign to see Porto elected as Best European Destination again.

Porto is the only Portuguese city competing for the title, which has won twice in the recent past, in 2012 and in 2014.

"It's time to mobilize and win this award," urged the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, during the ceremony.

 The goal is clear: to raise as many votes as possible, and voting for Best European Destination commenced on January 20th and will run until February 10.

Vote online without registration needed at www.voteporto.com.

The other European cities in competition are Athens (Greece), Barcelona (Spain), Basel (Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), Brussels (Belgium), London (England), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), Prague (Czech Republic) and Vienna (Austria).
