Porto Vivo, SRU shares experience with one of the most important technology parks in Brazil

A delegation from the Brazilian technology park “Porto Digital”, led by the architect Leonardo Guimarães, was in Porto, last week to observe the urban rehabilitation process that has been carried out in the city and to share technical experience.

Pedro Baganha, councilor for Housing at Porto City Hall, explained the strategic vectors which involve Porto’s urban rehabilitation, a city with a great historical heritage.

The institutional presentation of Porto Vivo, SRU and its intervention model in the city was made by the vice-chairman of the company’s board of directors, Raquel Maia, who addressed, among other matters, the Porto com Sentido program, in its different aspects , the intervention strategy for the designated “ilhas” and the 1º Direito, as a solution to promote housing qualification.

Considered three times the best technological park in Brazil, Porto Digital results from the synergy between the private sector, government and universities and currently houses more than 350 companies. The visit also included city historical center sites and also to Banco de Materiais of the Municipality.
