The Porto City Hall invites certified producers and/or distributers who produce organically to participate in the programme Good Food HUBs. As part of the Asprela + Sustentável, the initiative aims to make the city’s food system circular, local, healthy, sustainable, resilient, and fair.

The produce will be exposed in points of purchase/distribution next to five institutions: Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação of Universidade do Porto, Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Universidade Portucalense, Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto and Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade do Porto (UPTEC).

Each producer will be allocated to one of the temporary HUBs.

Good Food HUBs aims to bring consumers and producers closer, to improve access to fresh, quality, healthy, local food at fair prices, while simultaneously encouraging sustainable agricultural practices, as a way to protect soil, increase biodiversity and contribute to society’s decarbonisation.

Good Food HUBs is a project associated with Asprela + Sustentável and sponsored by EEA Grants (Call #4 – Living Lab), with the purpose of creating a decarbonisation’s live laboratory in that area of the city.

Asprela + Sustentável is implementing tools and innovative technologies in the areas of energy, energetic efficiency, electric mobility, waste management and circular economy.

The applications for Good Food HUBs must be submitted by filling this form.
