Room 2 of Casa da Música will open its doors to international experts in the area of architecture who, between the 3rd and 5th of February, will seek to promote new sustainable approaches that enable the reduction of the impact of construction in the environment, using technology.

With confirmed presences of world renowned designers, such as Kengo Kuma & Associates – who, together with young architects of the OODA office, from the famous architecture school of Porto, sign the project of Matadouro de Campanhã -, or Wael Al Awar, winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale, among many others, the “BUILD, from high to low tech” conference, organised by HAS – hinterland architecture studio, aims to discuss solutions to reduce the significant impact that construction has on the planet in terms of carbon emissions – which, according to data from the World Green Building Council, account for 39% of the world total.

The event will be open to the public and will be broadcast live online. You can purchase daily tickets, the three-day pass and check the full programme here.
