Different street markets enliven the streets of Porto these days. Set out on a discovery of this seven events that are free of charge.

Flea Market at São Lázaro Garden

The Flea Market is held in the oldest municipal garden of Porto. Between 2 pm and 7 pm, June 17th. About 200 street vendors trade second-hand products, including records, books, stamps, coins, textiles, tableware and clothes.

Craftwork at Parada Leitão Square

Every Friday and Saturday, weather permitting, the Arts and Crafts Market in Porto will enliven Parada Leitão square. This weekend, 16 and 17 June, between 9 am and 8 pm, visitors can discover a variety of handicraft products, in more than 80 market stalls.

Porto Belo Market at Carlos Alberto Square

Located in downtown Porto, Saturday, 17 June, between 10 am and 7 pm, Porto Belo Market features another edition. This traditional street market showcases a selection of vinyl records, CDs, books, biological and craftwork products, vintage clothing, and antiques, just to name a few.

The market offers nice background music and a comfort and leisure area.

MarketPlace-Casual Style returns to Marquês de Pombal Square

A cosmopolitan market that can be defined by the variety of offers, mainly second-hand items, such as clothing and garment accessories, furniture, vintage products, traditional pastries, gourmet cuisine.

Outings at Galerias de Paris

Urban craft fair with local artisans, for an ideal family outing, the first weekend of the month and every third Sunday of each month. 

Alegria Market in Foz do Porto

Every Sunday, the Passeio Alegre hosts craftwork, gastronomy and music.

This market promotes the work by local artists and artisans, that include costume jewellery, fashion accessories and decorative items. It also showcases cheeses, jams, savoury breads and drinks, among other items.

It runs from 10 am to 6 pm, Sunday.

Visitors can also enjoy a musical environment by an invited DJ.

Antiques and old things at Francisco Sá Carneiro Square

Every third Saturday, Bonfim hosts the Antiques and old things market at Francisco Sá Carneiro Square, former Velásquez Square.

Saturday, 17 June, several market stalls are available for visitors to choose antique goods and relics, from 8 am to 6 pm.
