The Municipality of Porto and the project Charcos com Vida promote, on April 28th, a night out on the field to observe and identify amphibians of the Parque da Cidade’s ponds. This initiative aims to signal the “Save the Frogs Day”, a world initiative that has the goal of bringing awareness to the significance of amphibians and their conservation.

Since 2009, hundreds of people have organised more than 1.500 educational events in, at least, 58 countries. The “Save the Frogs Day” happens every year on April 28th.

In Porto, the session is directed to families with children aged 6 and older, starting at 9pm and lasting 120 minutes. Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration.

Registrations open today, April 18th, at 9pm, through this link. This and more information on environmental issues can be found at Eco Agenda.
