Municipal Company Porto Ambiente is following stricter public space cleanliness, in the framework of the pandemic, with the goal of preventing further outbreak of the Covid-19 in the city of Porto.

This means that six shift teams are cleaning the streets and roadsides in Porto, supported by heavy vehicles, carrying an 8000 litre tank capacity, as well as light vehicles, equipped with a washer-scrubber and a vehicle especially devoted to the sanitation of paper cranes.

Porto Ambiente is following a protocol of stricter cleanliness in public spaces most attended by people these days, namely supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, health centres, hospitals, just to mention a few.

Also worth mentioning is the fact that these municipal workers are dully equipped with individual protective suits, to safeguard their physical integrity, and that all equipment is fully sanitizes and disinfected after use.

Moreover, the sanitation and hygiene of the city of Porto is the priority of Porto Ambiente, with the waste management and disposal protocols and protected workers protocols in place for several days.
