More than 4.200 Porto residents have this card. Time to get your own, as well

The Municipality of Porto launched the Porto. card just a week ago, and by now over 4.200 people have adhere to the card. All residents in Porto can adhere to the online card, through the uploading of all the necessary documents. Free membership can accordingly be made in-person, at the Townsman Office (Gabinete do Munícipe), at Porto municipal libraries, at Porto Municipal Theatre - Rivoli and at the municipal pools. After filling in the form, just demand that your card is sent to your address or that it will be picked up in one of the selected municipal facilities. Average waiting time is two days.

People matter to the Municipality of Porto, and what better way to show it than to provide all residents and students in the city with a card that will not only improve their daily experience in the city of Porto, but also establish a sense of belonging in the Invicta.

The card grants a series the benefits and discounts; in addition to the free of charge travel in the Funicular railway of Guindais and a 50% discount in City Park Bicycle Park, free access to all the facilities within the Museu da Cidade, a 50% discount in performances by Porto Municipal Theatre, and access to municipal pools. Other benefits regard priority access rights to ongoing activities in the city, and a 50% discount to enter the Water Pavilion.

Starting in June 2021, the card Porto. will also integrate the andante 13.18., but that will require the activation of the service in cartao.porto.pt (soon to be available) or in-person at the Townsman Office. Besides the own website, the mobile app for the Porto. card is being developed.
