More than 200 jobs in new German technology centre in Porto

This Tuesday, in Porto, a new technological centre led by a multinational emerges. From the Marquês area, the German Kuehne+Nagel will develop technologies for supply chains. For this, two hundred jobs will be created.

“We are here to stay”, assures the director of the Kuehne+Nagel Portuguese branch. In a statement, Gonçalo Bastos Sá states that “along with this vibrant and energetic atmosphere, our centre was designed to offer our talents a collaborative workplace, allowing interaction with multidisciplinary teams all over the world”.

In his turn, the head of IT and company administrator, Martin Kolbe, underlines how the “new centre is ideal for accelerating the implementation of our digital main plan. “Here, in Porto, we offer a fascinating and international work environment in the technological world of logistics for many different talents”, he adds.

And it also offers, 200 jobs for highly qualified software engineers, to be hired by the end of 2023.

From Porto, Kuehne+Nagel will develop and apply modern technologies to supply chains. The German multinational provider of transport and logistics services, with 1.300 offices in 106 countries, seeks to digitize its global customers through standardization and automation.
