Luxembourg delegation from Esch-sur-Alzette received at the Council Chambers

A delegation from Esch-sur-Alzette, the second largest city in Luxembourg, led by councilmen André Zwally and Christian Weis, visited Porto, having met in the Council Chambers, with councilwoman for Tourism and Internationalization, Catarina Santos Cunha, and Councilman for Economy, Employments and Entrepreneurship, Ricardo Valente.

Esch-sur-Alzette is the capital of southern Luxembourg and currently the European Capital of Culture. The objective of this visit was inserted in the economic promotion of the region, launching bridges for the establishment of relationships with entities and entrepreneurs in Portugal who may be interested in a process of internationalization of brands, products, or knowledge to Northern Europe, passing through the Luxembourg city.

The delegation, also made up of technical directors of local municipal services, international relations, economic promotion, and tourism, as well as the secretary-general of the municipality, members of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg, could also perceive the dynamism that Porto is experiencing, namely, in the areas of tourism, economy and entrepreneurship.
