The storytelling cycle “Sábados a Contar” is back today, 10th April, to the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library (BMAG), at 11 am. BMAG features two sessions each Saturday, under the storytelling cycle “Sábados a Contar”to families with children aged three and six years old, with the bonus theme workshop at the end of each session.

April celebrates books and what better way to do it than to share fun and spark children’s curiosity with new books and new stories. The benefits of reading to children are manifold and each time they hear a story, they learn new sounds and improve their language.

Rendez-vous is set for the Sala de Leitura Infantojuvenil at the Municipal Library and these storytelling moments will set off with the reading of the novel “O livro é meu!”, by Travis Foster.

The following weekend, on 167th April, it will be time for “Trincas: o monstro dos livros", by Emma Yarlett.

The cycle is access free, but with limited capacity owing to the ongoing pandemic and in line with the health measures in place. Prior registration is mandatory via email bmp@cm-porto.pt and children must be accompanied by an adult.
