In October there will be more connections from Porto to the American continent

Porto and the American continent are closer and closer. The Azores Airlines announced that it will reinforce the operation with three new routes with the cities of Boston, New York, and Toronto as their destinations. There will be another six multi-leg flights through Azores, starting in October and, six other direct flight for the summer of 2024, between the Invicta and the three north American cities.

In a statement, the airline asserts it means to “boost the offer not only in Porto but also in the North America destination, a market for which it has flown to for more than two decades and that it now reinforces as a comfortable alternative for those who wish to travel between the north American continent and the European one”.

Other than betting on the connection between Porto and the American continent, Azores Airlines will reinforce, in October, the domestic operation between the northern city and the islands of Terceira and São Miguel, “with 30 weekly flights, which will represent a 24% increase when compared to the corresponding period of 2022”.

As of the Summer, 42 weekly flights will connect Porto and Azores.

Easyjet is also reinforcing the operation from Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro and has announced that, after October, there will be a new route to Marrakech, in Morocco and, after November, another connection, twice a week, between Porto and the city of Pisa, in Italy.
