Line 18 of the historic tram, which runs between the Carmo/Clérigos area and Passeio Alegre, was resumed this Tuesday, January 31, after a few months of interruption due to interventions related to the pink metro line, in the surrounding area of the Hospital de Santo António and Jardim do Carregal (which prevent the line from surrounding the hospital).

The new end stop of Line 18, in the Carmo/Clérigos area, is located in front of the Clérigos Tower and another stop was added to the route, for entry and exit of passengers, in Jardim da Cordoaria. This line will operate every day, between 9:45 am and 5:15 pm, with frequencies of 30 minutes, with the support of the Municipal Police for the crossing, in the opposite direction, on the section of Rua da Restauração, between Jardim da Cordoaria and Rua Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia.

Line 18 provides passengers with a captivating journey between the upper part of the city (Cordoaria) and Foz, through which it is possible to enjoy the most beautiful views of Porto, along the Douro River, as well as a view of Vila Nova de Gaia when passing close to the Palácio de Cristal Gardens, on the ascent of Rua da Restauração.

From this Tuesday, Line 1, which runs between Infante and Passeio Alegre, also started to have frequencies every 20 minutes.

The STCP schedules are available for consultation at the stops, on the company's website, through email at linhaazul@stcp.pt or by telephone at 226 158 158. The SMSBUS service (cost 0.25 cents) can also be used: send a message with the stop code to the number 68998.
